A Brief History

DHL began their operations in 1969, just a few months after the first ever human landing on Moon. DHL with a D from Adrian Dalsey, H from Larry Hillblom and L from Robert Lynn started delivering overseas mail by air arriving at customs several hours before arrival which made the transition of documents easier.

It began by delivering door to door services to San Francisco, California and Honolulu.
